The Ella Sharp Museum Art, Beer and Wine Festival is underway for 2021

JACKSON, Michigan – The Ella Sharp Museum Art, Beer and Wine Festival is back after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The annual festival will take place on Saturday, August 7 from 1 to 7 p.m. at 4225 Fourth St. in Jackson.

It will feature Michigan wineries, breweries, cider houses and artists, as well as food vendors and live music.

Tickets will go on sale to museum members at noon June 1 via the Ella Sharp Museum’s Eventbrite page. The public can also purchase tickets on June 15 at noon through their Eventbrite page.

The Ella Sharp Museum will follow the current state of Michigan’s COVID-19 guidelines. They will have a limited number of tickets to sell, timed entry tickets and two festival entries.

This year, there will be three different entry times: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

When you check on Eventbrite, visitors will have the opportunity to choose their festival time. This is to help with a better flow of their entries according to museum officials. Limited tickets will be available for each period. Ticket prices are the same for all timed entry windows.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can register here. The Ella Sharp Museum is looking for people to help with admission, beverage service, grounds support, sales tent and more.

General admission tickets will be $15, which includes admission to the event only, no drink or tasting tokens.

Tasting tickets are $40. This includes a souvenir glass, 10 tasting tokens and admission.

VIP tasting tickets are $75 and include festival admission, a souvenir glass, 10 tasting tokens, “heavy appetizers” and a drink in the private community room with air conditioning and live music. Your food and drinks must remain in the community hall.

You can buy more tasting tokens on site.

All proceeds from the festival will go to museum programming.

According to the museum’s website, the event will take place rain or shine. Pets are not allowed.
