Volunteer for Boise Art Museum’s Art in the Park Fundraiser

There are many volunteer opportunities at Art in the Park, including at the Visitor Centers. The event is from September 10-12.

After a one-year hiatus, the in person art in the park is back on the program! (The event was changed to an online market last year due to the pandemic.)

Visitors will again roam Julia Davis Park, 700 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise, Sept. 10-12 to meet more than 250 artists — including 34 new artists — and purchase their works, ranging from pottery and textiles, to glass, paintings, jewelry and more. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The 67th annual festival also features over 30 food vendors, a Sculpture Garden pub, music in the Gene Harris Bandshell, and hands-on arts and crafts projects for young people in the Children’s Art Tent.

It is definitely a family favorite. However, in order to do Boise Art Museumis the biggest fundraiser possible, volunteers are needed.

For those interested in being part of a highly recognized cultural event in Idaho, several positions are available September 9-12, including Visitor Center Assistance, Children’s Art Tent (Setup, Host ), recycling, setting up events and dismantling and stand sitting (which allows artists to take 15-minute breaks).
